In response to COVID-19 and the challenges facing the fitness industry, Intelivideo Livestream allows brands to deliver premium audio and video content to their customers in real-time. Unlike social platforms including Facebook and YouTube that allow users to livestream video for free, Intelivideo enables you to put your livestream video behind a paywall. This allows you to make money from your video content. See our Livestream Release article here.
Overview of the Livestream 1.1 Release
Our new Live 1.1 platform revamped how our customers can livestream their workout classes with ease. We have configured some great new features such as and audience tab that will give you some great analytics for your classes. Some bug fixes throughout the platform that have been pain points in the past. We are always looking to improve our platform and already have been hard at work on a new livestream iteration that will take our platform to an even greater level. Let's look at some of these key things in more detail.
Features
Audience Tab
With Live 1.1 we have added some really great features to help your fitness business succeed. In the new audience tab feature you will be able to see which members have signed up, their email address, whether they have actually joined the session and how long they watched. Live 1.1 also allows you to export this information so you can improve your workouts and get real time analytics.
Join After Livestream Begins
From the customer side Live 1.1 gives easy access to opt into classes even after the class has started. So if your customer was running a little late it doesn't stop them from jumping in and getting a great workout. In turn, this allows owners to see their class count from the main livestream page or the audience tab. You can see when users joined the class so if you notice majority were a little late this will give you the tools to adjust your start times to help better fit your customer's schedule.
Calendar Event Links
One of our favorite new features is the Google and iCal Link. The calendar links allow subscribers to add their 'Joined' events to their Google calendar or iCal. These links make it easy to add the correct date, time and event name to their calendar alongside their existing busy schedules. Calendars will also prompt notifications helping your engagement with your livestream.
Bug Fixes
Making the best possible livestream platform for our customers was a top priority for us and we included a number of bug fixes so the platform doesn't have those hiccups.
Clients are now able to add a livestream to the client portal without adding a subscription or price for those of you who have an all in subscription.
Since one of our favorite features was the Calendar. We fixed it to display the week correctly and future weeks correctly whereas before our fix, the numbers would scramble.
A great bug fix was timezone, which is customized to whatever timezone the customer is in and uses that as default timezone so they don't have to try and calculate when the livestream starts in a different timezone.
