In order to create the best app for your SVOD customers, we’re going to need some account access as well as images and logos. We’re going to start with getting setup with Apple for accounts as well as in-app purchases, so you can sell your video subscriptions right inside of your own iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV apps.
To publish your iOS App to the Apple App store for your customers to find, you need an Apple Developer account. You can start this process by clicking on the link below:
You will need to sign up as an Organization rather than an Individual. This process can take a while as Apple verifies your business identity and other information. We recommend getting started with this task as soon as possible.
After you have created your account as an Organization, follow the steps and screenshots below to invite Intelivideo to your account so we can begin the app build process. Once sent, we will be notified and accept the invitation.
Step 1: Navigate to https://developer.apple.com/account and log in.
Step 2: Click People, either on the left nav-bar or in the center of the page
Step 3: Click “Invite People” in the center of the screen
Step 4: Invite Intelivideo using the email address firstname.lastname@example.org and make sure you select and provide us with the role of ADMIN.
APPLE ITUNES CONNECT
Next we need to get access to your iTunes Connect account. Follow the steps below to provide access to Intelivideo.
Step 1: Go to https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/login and login to your account. You should already have an account to login as based on the previous account you created in the last step.
Step 2: Click on “Users and Access”
Step 3: Click the blue plus (+) button next to “Users”
Step 4: Fill in the user information as provided below, then click next:
--> First Name: App
--> Last Name: Intelivideo
--> Email: email@example.com
--> Role: Admin
Step 5: Go to the Paid Applications Agreement. You should see an option for View Terms on the right side in the Paid Applications section of the grid. Select View Terms.
Step 6: Upon selecting the View Terms link, you'll likely be prompted to enter your address information. Once you have entered this information for your business select Save.
Step 7: After selecting Save for the address information you'll likely be prompted to accept the terms of paid applications from Apple. Please review these carefully, and after review, check the read the terms and conditions box, and select the Agree button.
Step 8: After confirming Apple's terms for paid purchases via the App Store, you'll need to do one last setup of banking and tax information.
Step 9: When you select the Tax, Banking, and Contacts section you will first be able to select and add banking information. PLEASE NOTE: This is separate from your Stripe account with Intelivideo.
Step 10: Next you'll need to select which Tax forms based on the country you file your taxes in for your business.
Step 11: Finally, the last step! Apple requests several contacts for your company or business. You can enter the same information for each one of these, but if you have designated individuals for legal, leadership, etc you may enter them as necessary. Fill out EACH ONE as Apple requires this.
